METHOD FOR MEASURING REMAINING CAPACITY OF BATTERY FOR POWER SUPPLY

PURPOSE: A method for measuring a remaining capacity of a battery for a power supply is provided to exactly measure a remaining capacity of a battery in order to estimate an operation time of a load. CONSTITUTION: A current amount(I) which is supplied to a load connected to a battery is measured. A remaining capacity of a battery is calculated by using the measured current amount(I) and an equation 3. An apparatus for measuring a remaining capacity of a battery is connected to a power supply device. A battery supplies a power supply in an electric power interruption. In order to exactly estimate an usage available time of the battery, an accurate remaining capacity with respect to an amount of a load connected to the battery. A remaining capacity of the battery changes according to the amount of a load connected to the battery. The remaining capacity of the battery changes by a two dimensional curve.
