PURPOSE: A cellular phone for automatically selecting a telephone bell sound and pronouncing the selected telephone bell sound according to a caller ID is provided to compare a received caller ID with a caller ID previously stored in the cellular phone and pronounce a telephone bell sound corresponding to the caller ID previously stored by a user when the received caller ID is identical to the caller ID previously stored in the cellular phone. CONSTITUTION: A user of a cellular phone designates a specific bell sound to a specific caller ID and stores the caller ID in a storing device(3) using an input device(2). An arithmetic device(4) compares a caller ID transmitted from a caller ID receiving device(1) with the caller ID stored in the storing device(3) and judges whether the caller ID transmitted from the caller ID receiving device(1) is identical to the caller ID stored in the storing device(3). If the caller ID transmitted from the caller ID receiving device(1) is identical to the caller ID stored in the storing device(3), a corresponding telephone bell sound is pronounced through a speaker(5).
