PURPOSE: A flickering lighting type fluorescent lamp is provided to maximize an advertizing effect by flickering sequentially fluorescent lamps according to a time signal. CONSTITUTION: The first and the second fluorescent lamps(11,12) are turned on or off alternately. The first and the second preheating transformers(21,22) supply preheating power to the first and the second fluorescent lamps(11,12). The first and the second ballasts(31,32) are connected in parallel to the first and the second preheating transformers(21,22). The first and the second inductive condensers(41,42) is formed on lines of the first and the second ballasts(31,32). The first and the second triacs(51,52) are used for switching the inductive power of a power supply portion(100). The first and the second photo couplers(61,62) supply the driving power to the first and the second triacs(51,52). A controller(70) controls the first and the second fluorescent lamps(11,12). A timer portion(80) receives a time signal from the controller(70). An oscillator portion(90) outputs an oscillation signal to the controller(70). The power supply portion(100) supplies the direct current to the controller(70).
