PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to form a heating chamber and a toaster section in the microwave oven without enlarging a size of the microwave oven by utilizing a space of the microwave oven. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven includes a cavity assembly having a heating chamber and an outer casing forming an external shape of the microwave oven. The microwave oven has a toaster casing(22) installed between the outer casing and the heating chamber. An inlet(23) of the toaster casing(22) is formed at an upper surface of the outer casing. A heater is installed in the toaster casing(22) in order to heat bread. A tray is rotatably installed in the toaster casing(22) so as to place bread therein. A pinion section is formed at one side of the tray. A reversible gear is engaged with the pinion section.
