PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring distance using pulse waves is provided to compensate deviation generated by change in outer environment and improve the accuracy of distance measurement. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring distance using pulse waves includes a pulse generator(100) generating pulse for generating distance of an object; a pulse wave transmitting medium(200) transmitting the pulse emission wave and a pulse reflective wave reflected from the object; a first fixing part(300) combined with one side of the pulse wave transmitting medium for fixing; a pulse wave transmitting medium hanger(400) formed to hang the pulse wave transmitting medium at a position of a predetermined height; a sensor(500) receiving a control signal for detecting the pulse emission wave and the pulse reflective wave and outputting sensing signals corresponding to the waves; a float unit(600) moving up and down following the pulse wave transmitting medium by buoyancy of fluid and providing the pulse reflective wave by reflecting the pulse emission wave; a combining unit(700) combined with the float unit for minutely reflecting the pulse reflective wave; a second fixing part(800) combined with the other side of the pulse wave transmitting medium for fixing; a control part(900) receiving the sensing signal for measuring distance of the float unit and outputting a control signal corresponding to the same; and a housing(1100) protecting the pulse generator, the first fixing part, the pulse wave transmitting medium hanger part, the sensor, and the control part from foreign substances or shock from outside.
