PURPOSE: A hybrid bulletproof helmet is provided to shield from bullets securely by restricting separation with observing the permissible weight, and to protect the head of a user against bullets by preventing deformation. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid bulletproof helmet is composed of an intermediate layer(2) having plural bulletproof polyethylene layers; an outer surface layer(3) stacked on the outer surface of the intermediate layer and made of nylon; and an internal surface layer(4) made of aramid and mounted in the inside of the intermediate layer with 2-3 layers. Spalling is prevented with restricting partial deformation by making of Twaron as aramid fiber. The head of the user is protected against bullets by improving performance with keeping the permissible weight.
