PURPOSE: A headrest device is provided to secure the rear visibility by moving the headrest upward without any power source at the same time as a passenger seats in a seat and by moving the headrest downward when the passenger leaves the seat. CONSTITUTION: A first hydraulic cylinder device(20) transfers hydraulic pressure to a passage(30) by integrally forming a pressurizing plate(21) with a cylinder rod(22) inside a seat cushion(11) of a seat(10). A second cylinder device(60) is connected with a headrest(70) and moves the headrest by opening and closing a valve device through the hydraulic pressure of the first hydraulic cylinder device. The headrest is moved upward for a passenger's head when the passenger seats the seat and the headrest is moved downward when the passenger leaves the seat. Thereby, the rear visibility is secured.
