PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure for flexible substrate that can connect the flexible substrate of a planar image display device using the flexible substrate because the substrate does not cause disconnection in its worked parts, and can be worked easily in a highly heat radiating state, and to provide a planar image display device using the structure. SOLUTION: The length of the flexible substrate 3 connecting a panel 1 to a driving circuit board 2 is made longer than the conventional normal length so that a void may be formed for ventilation between adjacent flexible substrates 3 without performing any special working at the time of connecting the panel 1 to the board 2, by connecting the panel 1 to the board 2 in a twisted state by rotating the substrate 3 around its axis. |
