The arrangement is for fitting a tool against the ground surface for clearing snow and ice and transporting the cleared material away and involves the scoop (1) being fitted with side devices (4,6) and wings/flaps (5) which do not require to be folded inwards when ground levels limiting scraping are encountered. - The wings/flaps are individually movable both vertically and horizontally and can be pushed from an inwardly lowered position back to a forward position, approximately at 90 degrees to the scoop base cutter. Once the tool has passed a raised ground formation the side devices and the wings/flaps are returned to their original position with the aid of springs. |
