PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the energy efficiency of a vehicle while optimizing its acceleration performance. SOLUTION: Front wheels 1L, 1R are driven by an engine 2, rear wheels 3L, 3R are driven by a motor 4 which is driven by electric power generated by a generator 7. When the torque of the front wheels 1L, 1R to be transmitted practically to the road surface (ground reaction torque) is smaller than the torque that is required by the driver, the generator 7 is controlled to develop the generated load torque to comply with the difference between the actual torque and required torque. On the other hand, when TCS control is required, the manipulated variable to be controlled is reduced to comply with the generated load torque. |
