PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling the drive of a sensorless brushless DC motor, which can materialize effective control effect of torque ripple without being premised on a special structure of motor requiring a sensor. SOLUTION: The method of controlling the drive of a sensorless brushless DC motor, where a bipolar drive method is applied, is disclosed. This motor drive control method is provided for switching an application current pattern at equal intervals by a specified number of times of two or more when switching the application current pattern, on the basis of the point of time (the point of time of zerocross) of positive and negative inversion of counter electromotive force of each phase (for example, three phases). |
