PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote operation device which is hard to break even in inferior use environment and inexpensive and enables the same input operation as that of a keyboard. SOLUTION: A PLC1 to which a key input means comprising a plurality of industrial push-button switches 10 is connected and key input data inputted from the key input means 7 are transferred to a PC by a communication manager 22 and handled as keyboard input data by a keyboard input emulating means A1 by referring to an input data correspondence table 25. The key input means 7 is hard to break since it is composed of the industrial push-button switches 10. If the input means is broken, only a broken push-button switch 10 is merely replaced and repaired at a low cost.
