PURPOSE: A magnetic separator is provided to remove or collect steel metal contained in goods transported by a conveyer using an electromagnetic force. CONSTITUTION: A magnet body having an electromagnet therein is supported by a frame(2). A circulation belt(3) circulates the magnet body(1) by main rollers(4,5) and auxiliary rollers(6,7). A scrapper(31) is mounted on the circulation belt(3) at a predetermined interval. The first main roller(4) is driven by a driving device(8). Cooling oil is filled in the magnet body(1). The magnet body(1) has a cooling oil inlet(91) and outlet(92) at a rear wall. The inlet(91) and outlet(92) are connected to an oil tank(9). |
