ANTENNA OF READER/WRITER FOR IC CARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna of a reader/writer that can stably communicate with an IC card 21 at all times. SOLUTION: A main loop antenna L1 including the entire part of a card antenna La of the IC card 21 and a sub loop antenna L2 including at least part of the card antenna La are placed on a read face 11 of the reader/writer 10. The main loop antenna L1 has no possibility of too tight electromagnetic coupling with the card antenna La even by bringing the IC card 21 close to or closely contact with the read face 11 and fluctuations in the resonance frequency and the impedance can be minimized.
