PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generally usable digital waveform data recording circuit for LSI incorporation preventing the increase of a memory capacity, and a recording method. SOLUTION: The digital waveform data recording circuit is at least provided with a data latch register 1, an individual data counter 2 counting the number of a first data column continuously changing a value, a repetition data counter 3 counting the number of times of the repetition of a second data column repeating the same value, a selector 4 selecting data to be recorded in a memory, a comparator 5 comparing the data preserved in the data latch, register 1 with newly inputted data and a controller 6 generating address signals for the memory. The data column continuously changing the value and the data column repeating the same value are turned to one group and the number of the data of the data column changing the value and the number of the data of the data column repeating the same value are paired and added to the data storage area of the group. |
