PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system for tracking and imaging a subject even if a camera has not captured the subject when starting imaging. SOLUTION: The imaging system 1 comprises an imaging means 3 for imaging the picture of a subject A, and an operation means 2 for remotely controlling the imaging means 3, where the subject A carries the same operation means 2 to operate the imaging means 3. The imaging means 3 comprises a control operation section 33 for calculating picture information and automatically tracking the subject A, and a signal reception section 31 that can estimate the arrival direction of electric wave signals. Additionally, the operation means 2 has a signal transmission section 25 for transmitting a remote control signal including a command code for instructing operations such as the start and end of imaging, and an ID code that is assigned for each operation means 2. With this configuration, the imaging means 3 receives a remote control signal from the signal transmission section 25, specifies the direction of the subject A by matching with the ID code, automatically tracks the movement, and images a continuous picture.
