PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color information management server capable of managing information about the permitted range of color difference between a color designated by a user and a color material after color conditioning, to provide a color information management method and a program therefor. SOLUTION: A transmission/reception processing section 16 receives, from a user's terminal, designated color information about the color designated by the user together with permitted range information defining the permitted range of the color difference between the color of a color material which is conditioned so as to meet the designated color and the designated color. A color reproducibility information database 15a correlates defined designated color information defining the information of color required for conditioning the color material within the permitted range defined by the permitted range information with the permitted range information, and stores these information. A verification processing section 19 verifies that received designated color information contains the information defined by the defined designated color information by referencing, from the database 15a, the defined designated color information corresponding to the permitted range information which is received.
