PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to prevent the fault discharge of cell due to a wall charge by reducing the wall charge created at a display electrode in an address section. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of address electrodes(4) are formed on a first substrate(10) as a stripe pattern. A dielectric layer(12) covers the address electrodes(4) and is formed on the entire surface of the first substrate(10). A plurality of sidewalls(2) are provided on the dielectric layer(12) at a predetermined height and divide a line-shape discharging space corresponding to the respective address electrodes(4). An RGB(Red, Green, Blue) fluorescent layer(14) is deposited on the discharging space divided by the sidewalls(2). A plurality of display electrodes(6) and scan electrodes(8) are formed on a surface of a second substrate(16) opposite to the first substrate(10) and have a vertical stripe pattern to the address electrodes(4). A transparent dielectric layer(20) and a protecting layer(22) cover the display electrodes(6) and the scan electrodes(8) and are formed on the entire surface of the second substrate(16). At least one non-conductive unit(4a) is provided on the address electrodes(4) opposite to the display electrodes(6) in order to prevent a wall charge from being stored on the display electrodes(6).
