PURPOSE: A circuit trip device with function for controlling trip time in a MCCB is provided to exactly control an instantaneous breaking current value by changing an interval between a movable core and a fixed core. CONSTITUTION: A current flows through a coil(21). A fixed core(22) generates a magnetic force. A movable core(23) performs a rectilinear motion and is inserted into the fixed core(22) when the fixed core(22) generates the magnetic force. An instant bar(24) is connected to the movable core(23). A cross bar(26) is connected to the instant bar(24). The cross bar(26) moves to rotate the instant bar(24). A control dial changes an interval between the fixed core(22) and the movable core(23). An upper core(29) is fixed to a movable core(23) and reinforces a magnetic force generated from the fixed core(22). A torsion spring is installed at one end of the cross bar(26) and provides a restoring force to the cross bar when the cross bar(26) rotates. A tension spring(31) is installed at one end of an instant bar(24) and provides the restoring force to the instant bar(24) when the instant bar(24) rotates.
