PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of reducing the residue of developer on the inclined surface of a developer container while reducing the rotational driving torque of a developer carrying member and restraining the occurrence of working noise at low cost, and to provide a process cartridge and an image forming device equipped with the developing device. SOLUTION: This developing device is equipped with a partitioning member 41 extending from the upper outer circumference of the rotational area of a developer carrying member 31 to an upper specified position and partitioning an upper space in the rotational area to the near side and the far side of a developing sleeve 3, and the member 31 is constituted so that the ratio of all the area of a sheet member passing through a diametral surface passing an axial line and one optional diametral line in the rotational area to the area of the diametral surface is >=30%. The member 41 is set so that its lowermost end is positioned on a more downstream side in the rotating direction of the member 31 than the upper most part of the rotational area of the member 31, the distance between the lowermost end and the outer circumference of the rotational area is <=5 mm, and an angle formed by the member 41 and a horizontal surface is equal to or above the tilt angle of the inclined surface of a developer container 2. |
