PURPOSE: To provide a syringe outer cylinder which is hardly broken even when a thick liquid is injected by high pressure and also is easily attached to a cylinder holder and to provide the cylinder holder. CONSTITUTION: A circular arcuate guide projection is arranged on the front surface of the flange of the syringe outer cylinder. A circular arcuate guide groove 41 for guiding the guide projection arranged in the flange is arranged on the front wall surface of a flange insertion groove 14 where the flange of the cylinder holder is fitted. When the syringe is attached, the guide projection is fitted to the guide groove so that the flange does not come out upward.
