PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-retardant cable that is superior in fire-retardancy and extrusion appearance, and prevents deterioration of wear resistance and insulation resistance, and is improved in drawing performance of the insulating body without using a release agent. SOLUTION: The fire-retardant cable is constructed by covering a first insulating body 4 on the conductor 2 and covering a second insulating body 5 on the first insulating body 4, and covering a third insulating body 6 on the second insulating body 5. The second insulating body 5 is constructed of a fire-retardant olefin system resin composition that is made by compounding 40-120 pts.wt. of metal hydroxide with 100 pts.wt. of olefin system resin, and the above first and third insulating bodies 4, 6 are constructed of an olefin system resin or a fire-retardant olefin system resin that is made by compounding 40 or less pts.wt. of metal hydroxide with 100 pts.wt. of olefin system resin. |
