PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus by which occurrence of a defective image is stably eliminated over a long term by reducing image deterioration due to scattered toner from a blade member. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus by which a toner image is formed on a photoreceptive drum 4 and is transferred to a transfer material S so as to form an image by the photoreceptive drum 4 and a process means acting on the photoreceptive drum 4 possesses a cleaning device 9 to remove residual toner at the photoreceptive drum 4 as the process means, and the cleaning device 9 possesses the blade member 22 being the elastic body abutting on the photoreceptive drum 4, a motor 32 to whose output shaft part a weight 33 is attached and a frame 20 holding the blade member 22 and the motor 32, and the blade member 22 and the frame 20 are excited by the operation of the motor 32, and a fan 35 provided at the inside of a device is operated during the operation of the motor 32. |
