SOLUTION: A merchandise purchase supporting server 10 acquires designation information for designating a function about merchandise of a merchandise name requested by the customer from a customer terminal 20 through the Internet 50 and retrieves OA equipment data 1531 stored in an OA equipment DB 153. Then, the merchandise purchase supporting server 10 reads OA equipment characteristic data 1561 about the merchandise name shown in the retrieved OA function data 1531 from the OA equipment characteristic DB 156. Next, the merchandise purchase supporting server 10 uses the read OA equipment characteristic 1561 to generate display data to be displayed on a displaying part 23 of the customer terminal 20 with information including a merchandise characteristic as merchandise information and transmits the generated display data to the customer terminal 20 through the Internet 50. When the customer terminal 20 receives the display data, the customer terminal 20 uses the display data to display a merchandise characteristic display picture. |
