PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the installation work of the lamp safe and operate the device stably without breaking the lamp at lamp replacement and lighting, by restricting the installation direction of the lamp so that the conduction wire may not give an unnecessary force on the mercury by lamp. SOLUTION: In the mercury lamp device, the mercury lamp 1 comprises conduction wire 20 that comes from one of the base 16 and has a fixing means for fixing the direction of the wire 20 in a prescribed direction to the lamp fitting hand 3, and the concentric protrusion 18 of the other base 17 is engaged in the receiving hole 22 of the lamp fitting hand 3. The above fixing means makes prescribed positioning by engagement of one of the positioning pin 2 by which the base 17 and the lamp fitting hand 3 are mutually engaged, and the groove 23 of the other side that receives this pin. |
