PURPOSE: A settlement system using a lease type optical transceiver is provided to lease the optical transceiver in which a corresponding intrinsic number is registered in a uniform place and simply perform a settlement about a buying charge using the optical transceiver. CONSTITUTION: An optical transmitter(100) optically transmits a corresponding intrinsic number. A counter terminal(160) attaches an optical receiver(162) for receiving the intrinsic number of the optical transmitter(100), and registers lease and return states about the received intrinsic number. A calculation terminal(120) attaches an optical receiver(122) for receiving the intrinsic number of the optical transmitter(100), and inputs the amount of use money in the received intrinsic number. A main computer(140) receives lease and return information of the optical transmitter(100) from the counter terminal(160), registers lease and return information, confirms the intrinsic number and the amount of use money inputted in the calculation terminal(120), and settles a charge.
