<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a narrow pitch connector, without having to increase the number of assembling processes. SOLUTION: This connector 1 is composed of an insulator 2, and a plurality of contacts 3, held at a constant pitch by the insulator 2. The respective contacts have a contact part connected to a mating side connector, a holding part held by the insulator, and a terminal part connected to a cable. The terminal part has an inclined part 3A, projecting from the insulator and formed obliquely in an almost 45 deg. direction with respect to the pitch direction of the contacts, and a connection part 3B continuously arranged from the inclined part, and formed in the direction parallel to the pitch direction of the contacts. The inclined part and the connection part of the adjacent respective contacts are arranged alternately and oppositely in the pitch direction of the contacts. A clearance C4 is secured between the respective contacts and left and right both side contacts.</p> |
