PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a recording region of an image in a recording medium. SOLUTION: When an image file is transmitted from a storing region of recording medium image information 4b to a personal computer, a transmission finish flag which is contained in transfer finish managing information 4a and corresponds to the transmitted image file is updated from 'untransmitted' to 'transmitted'. When empty capacity is insufficient in the image information 4b on the chance of the next image recording, a new image file is reserved by overwritting, in an image file in which a value of the transmission finish flag is 'transmitted'.
