PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to receive a digital aural signal or the like which will be limited in a high band channel of a VHF band and broadcasted, by simple operation while high interference excluding capability and a superior NF are maintained. SOLUTION: This receiving tuner is equipped with a first, second and third variable tuning circuits 3, 4 and 5 which are installed corresponding to a low region; a middle region and a high region, respectively, which divide a band of high band of an HF band into three, and select a desired segment in each of the bands, a first, second and third mixer 9, 10 and 11 which are installed corresponding to the tuning circuits 3, 4 and 5 and perform frequency conversion of the digital broadcast signal of a desired segment selected by each of the tuning circuit 3, 4 and 5; and a local oscillator 12 for supplying a local oscillation signal to the first, second and third mixers 9, 10 and 11. A band width of each of the variable tuning circuits 3, 4 and 5 is made equal to about three times that of one segment. One from among the mixers 9, 10 and 11 which corresponds to a band to which the selected segment belongs is turned into an operating state.
