PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment with which trouble to manually switch the operating state of an incoming reporting means can be reduced. SOLUTION: In this communication equipment, when starting an application, the incoming reporting means of a telephone is automatically stopped (S11), an automatic response is applied to an incoming telephone call, which is detected during the stop of the incoming reporting means by a voice message (S15) and when ending the application, the incoming reporting means is automatically started (S18).
