PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding device whose cross section is smaller than a conventional one while performance equivalent to the conventional one is secured and to provide an electronic oven. SOLUTION: A conductor piece 17 in the length of 16 mm (≈λ/8), which is formed with a slit 16, is arranged around a door main body 15 formed of a metallic plate. Then, the electromagnetic wave shielding device 23 is constituted by setting the width of the conductor piece 17 to be a1≈10 mm (≈λ/12), the distance of a gap by the slit 16 (namely, distance between conductor pieces) to be s1≈10 mm (≈λ/12), and a period to be P1≈20 mm (≈λ/6). Since an attenuation groove does not exist and bending becomes easy, the electromagnetic wave shielding device can be miniaturized. Especially in the case of the electronic oven, a heating chamber or a door can be miniaturized.
