SELF-LUBRICATING INSULATING CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-lubricating insulating cable that exhibits an excellent slippery performance when winding an electrical equipment coil and is capable of sticking strongly to the electric insulating varnish when the electric insulating varnish is impregnation treated to the electrical equipment coil obtained by winding. SOLUTION: This is a self-insulating cable which is provided with a self- lubricating resin coated layer that is made of a low softening-point synthetic resin having a lower softening point than the drying treatment temperature of an impregnation-treatment electric insulating varnish and a low melting point wax on a conductor wire directly or through other insulating layer.
