PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably transport an optical disk to the recording/reproducing position of a slot in type optical disk drive. SOLUTION: The inserted optical disk 100 is held and transported 16 from an opening part by an upper tray 14 and a lower tray. The upper tray 14 and the lower tray 16 are opened toward a disk inside diameter, and the lower tray 16 is energized toward the upper tray. Thus, both of the 12 cm and 8 cm optical disks are reliably held.
