PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television set, a vibration absorbing device and a vibration absorbing method, by which the vibration of a shadow mask can be reduced while generating sounds based in real audio signals from a speaker. SOLUTION: When generating sounds from a speaker for sound generation on the basis of audio signals amplified by an amplifier circuit, the phase of such an amplified audio signal is inverted by a phase inverter circuit, and a sound is generated by a speaker for vibration absorption on the basis of such an audio signal of the inverted phase. Thus, the vibration of a picture tube caused by a sonic wave generated from the speaker for sound generation is absorbed by vibration generated from a speaker for vibration generation. Therefore, the oscillation of the shadow mask can be relaxed while outputting sounds based on real audio signals from the speaker for sound generation. |
