PURPOSE: To prevent sudden regular locking and regular locking release of two articles. CONSTITUTION: A temporary locking arm 3 and a regular locking arm 4 are arranged in parallel on one article 1. An arm-receiving part 5, having a temporary engaging part 15 and a regular engaging part 16, and entering between the temporary locking arm and the regular locking arm and a pair of arm guide parts 6 and 7 on both sides of the arm-receiving part are arranged on the other article 2. An inclined part 21 is arranged in one arm guide part 7 for slidingly contacting and supporting the tip 11a of the regular locking arm 4, when the regular locking arm 4 gets over the regular engaging part 16. Inclined parts 9 and 19 for clearance are arranged on the tip side of the temporary locking arm 3 and the tip side of the other arm guide part 6. One article 1 is a connector housing, and the other article 2 is a front holder for defining a terminal housing chamber in the connector housing.
