PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an accident and to reduce risks in an electronic commerce of a credit system. SOLUTION: Order data S21 including information on the price of a commodity desired by a purchaser and a message including personal information such as a credit card number which must not be leaked to a third party are given to the computer 10 of a settlement agent from a computer 30 used by the purchaser. The computer 10 performs processing for determining whether to pay the price for the commodity to a seller in stead of the purchaser from the order data S21 and the personal information. In the case of paying, the computer 10 transmits settlement permission information without the personal information showing that the price is to be paid to the computer 20 on the side of the seller used by the seller.Thus, before sending the commodity, settlement is finished and information of the credit number, etc., is not given to the seller. |
