PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable both a buyer and a supplier to perform an object procurement transaction that has been initiated by the buyer on an equal footing. SOLUTION: A web server system 3 for supporting object procurement supports object procurement from an object supply seller (supplier) to its purchaser (buyer). The web server system 3 is provided with a computer 13 having a purchase request information disclosing means for storing purchase request information including the identification information, desired purchase price and desired purchase delivery time of a desired purchase object transmitted from buyer and disclosing the purchase request information on the Internet 2, a sales request information disclosing means for storing sales request information including the identification information, desired sales prices and sellable delivery periods of sales objects transmitted respectively from a plurality of suppliers and disclosing the sales request information on the Internet 2, and a discriminating means for extracting at least one supplier which discloses an object that is the same as or substitutable for the desired purchase object of the buyer on the basis of the disclosed purchase request information and sales request information and discriminating whether or not the purchase object can be subjected to a procurement transaction between the buyer and the extracted supplier. |
