PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for shared use of vehicle capable of renting out a vehicle accurately in order of occurrence of applying for rent. SOLUTION: The system having a control room 1 with a control device to control a co-owned vehicle 2 parked in a parking area named as a port to rent the vehicle 2 to a user, wherein the vehicle 2 has a determining means for use of vehicle to determine whether the vehicle 2 is available or not according to data on a usage state of the vehicle 2 indicating that it has already reserved or it is in use now in response to inquiries from the control room 1 about the availability and to transmit a result of a determination of the availability, the control room 1 has a means 101 for reservation procedure to inquire the usage state to the vehicle 2 based on the reservation information being inputted from a user A 3 and including information on a departure port and information on the vehicle 2 desired to be rented and to make a reservation by making the determination of the availability of the vehicle 2 according to the result of the determination replied from the vehicle 2 by return.
