PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a received data demodulation method, a receiver and a transmitter-receiver for receiving a multi-carrier signal with a guard interval signal added thereto at a transmitter side, demodulating the received data., avoiding the effect of inter-symbol interference and attaining demodulation processing with high precision and a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The method includes a step of applying absolute value processing to received data resulting from adding a guard interval to a desired symbol in a multi-carrier signal by subtracting the desired symbol and a delayed symbol delayed by the symbol period from the data, a step of calculating a moving average by a prescribed sample, a step of dividing the prescribed sample moving average by a moving average by a prescribed sample delayed by a unit sample, and a step of continuously entering the divided value to detect an inflection point and to thus identify a symbol timing to apply demodulation processing to the desired symbol.
