PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof plug of a waterproof connector, capable of avoiding fall off the waterproof plug, and capable of avoiding cost increase. SOLUTION: This waterproof plug 10 of the waterproof connector is formed into a cylindrical shape for blocking up a cylindrical cavity 21 formed in a housing 20 of the waterproof connector, and has a body 11 provided with a rib 12 along the outer peripheral surface, and columnar extension parts 15 and 16 arranged in the shaft direction both end parts of the body 11. The rib 12 is constituted, so as to be brought into pressure contact with an surface cavity 21. This waterproof plug 10 has a diametral dimension D1 and an axial dimension L1 self-holding to the cavity 21, when at least one of the respective extension parts 15 and 16 is pressed into the cavity 21.
