PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery having high electric characteristics causing no loosening over aging in caulking and no increase in contact resistance due to corrosion. SOLUTION: This sealed battery has a header formed by fitting an electrode lead out terminal plate having a polarity different from a battery can through an insulating member and caulking with an electrode introducing pin. At least one projection part is formed in the contacting direction with the electrode introducing pin, on the inner wall surface of a through-hole of the electrode introducing pin installed in the electrode taking out terminal plate.
