PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share the scene, which one viewer hopes to catch, with another viewer, by transmitting a book mark, which one viewer made, to another viewer. SOLUTION: In the time shift reproduction method, a prescribed high-spot scene is accessed by using a book mark and reproduced when a recorded animated film is reproduced. When animated film information is recorded, the actual recording time of a prescribed screen area in the animated film information is recorded, and the actual recording time of the prescribed high-spot scene is recorded with a relation of the book mark. During the reproduction, the high-spot scene is accessed and reproduced on the basis of the time between the actual recording time of the high-spot scene and the actual recording time of the prescribed scene area, and the image information of the prescribed screen area.
