PURPOSE: A device for initiating an induction motor of a washing machine is provided to prevent the malfunction of the induction motor due to the heating by forming an initiating condenser with a film type capacitor and a ferrite core wound with an electric line three times. CONSTITUTION: A device for initiating an induction motor of a washing machine includes an initiating condenser of the induction motor, and triacs to be energized by a driving signal of forward or reverse direction to apply power to the induction motor via the initiating condenser, wherein the initiating condenser includes a film type capacitor(111) for charging or discharging power, and a ferrite core(112) mounted between an input and an output of the film type capacitor and wound by a coated electric line which connects the input and output of the capacitor to each other. |
