PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device and a process cartridge for the cleaner-less system which prevents image flow and image fog due to failure in recovering a residual toner after transfer. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic device equipped with an electrophotographic photoreceptor, an electrifying means to electrify the electrophotographic photoreceptor by applying voltage on a flexible electrifying member disposed in contact with the photoreceptor to form a nip with the photoreceptor, an exposure means, a developing means, a transfer means and a auxiliary electrifying means in the upstream side of the electrifying means to apply a voltage in the same polarity, the surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a charge transfer material having 0.4 V to 1.00 V oxidation potential. |
