PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a signal without attenuation and deterioration through one optical fiber by performing transmission, after video signals obtained from a plurality of television cameras or the like are converted to a composited image electrical signal, PIP signal, in a PIP part, and converted to an optical signal. SOLUTION: This PIP optical transmission system consist of a plurality of cameras provided with function for photographing pictorial images and converting the photographed images to electric signals, the PIP part for receiving the electric signals of the pictorial images photographed and converted by the cameras, and collecting a plurality of video signals in one electric signal, a TX part for converting a composited image electric signal collected in one by the PIP part to an optical signal and transmitting it, an RX part for receiving the optical signal transmitted from the TX part, and converting the received optical signal to the composited image electric signal, and image output equipment for outputting the composited image electric signal. |
