PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing method that can prevent crosstalk noise, caused by a fault of a subscriber side transmitter, and top provide its device. SOLUTION: A communication device (subscriber side transmitter) 12, accommodating a plurality of terminals, is provided with a supply means that converts a first voltage into a second voltage and applies the second voltage to each section in the communication device 12, a capacitor means that stores the second voltage applied to each circuit in a form of electric charges, a monitor means that monitors the second voltage applied to each circuit and raises an alarm when detecting a fault in the second voltage, and a stop means that informs a user of the occurrence of the fault, when it receives the alarm and stops transmission of a transmission signal. |
