<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use hardware resources by reducing power consumption in accordance with the unused state of an external interface. SOLUTION: I/Fs 111, 112 and 11n are provided with detectors 131, 132 and 13n for detecting the opposite communication party, respectively. SWs 121, 122 and 12n supply minimum power needed to detect the opposite communication party, and supply power needed or operations as an I/F when the opposite communication party is detected. In starting an information processor 10, a CPU 101 turns on the SW of an I/F through which the opposite communication party is detected according to a program stored in a ROM 104, and installs software needed or operations. Power supply to the I/F and software installation is additionally performed even during the operation. When the opposite communication party finishes communications, the power supply to the used I/F is turned off and the software is also uninstalled.</p> |
