DYNAMIC IMAGE COMPRESSING METHOD, AND THE PROGRAM THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the compression factor of a dynamic image when panning or tilting is applied. SOLUTION: By compositing a background picture Bk out of input pictures P1-P4 photographed in a first panning or tilting, the input pictures P1-P3 photographed thereafter are subjected to compressive codings, while applying motion correction to the input pictures P1-P3 using the background picture Bk as a reference picture. Thereby, the compression factor of the dynamic images can be improved largely always in comparison with the case of compressing the background picture Bk.
