CRT WITH TENSION MASK HAVING STRENGTHENING SUPPORTING MEANS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CRT having a tension mask with light frame structure. SOLUTION: The cathode ray tube (1) comprises a mask (8) and a frame/ mask assembly for the color selection, having a frame (19). The mask is kept under tension generated by attaching it to the end parts of long sides (9) of the frame. The frame/mask assembly is hung on the inside of the tube during the manufacturing process with high temperature by using a supporting means (10), enabled to increase the mechanical hardness of the frame through the supporting means having longitudinal recesses (40) which cause the long sides of the frame come closer.
