PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen display system in which an inputted character or numeral can not be visually recognized by a third person except an inputting person. SOLUTION: In the screen display system composed of an input device for inputting a character or numeral and a display device for displaying that character or numeral, a camouflage pattern composed of random dots in a single color is previously applied to a field for displaying the inputted character or numeral and when the inputting person inputs a character or numeral, that character or numeral is displayed while being superimposed on or under the camouflage pattern so that the character or numeral can not be visually recognized with the naked eyes. Only when a picture is watched through a colored transparent filter having the same color as a color of the camouflage pattern, a camouflage effect by the camouflage pattern disappears so that the character or numeral can be visually recognized.
